Torre de Hercules

I am Justyna, I am in Coruna on Erasmus, and first monument which I decided to visit was Torre de Hercules. :) It's the most famous place to see, to all tourists. It is very near the Atlantic Ocean. The view from is amazing!! But there is quite windy, so take the warm clothes:) It is the oldest lighthouse in Europe, from a Rome time. I am not very good at history so I am not able to tell you more about history of this. :) but arounding of the Torre also is wonderful. A lot of nature and sea, and sculptures. 

The Torre de Hercules was one of my absolute favorite places to visit in La Coruña. It is a popular place for relaxing upon the rocks that sit by the ocean, or for a run or a nice picnic. The story behind the tower contains a legend that you can read about here.
