What is it like to live in A Coruña? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
The time which I spend in A Coruňa was one of the best of my life. The city is really beautiful and the people are very friendly.
What is the student lifestyle like in A Coruña?
The student lifestyle is full of different experiences. During the year there are a lot of parties and opportunities to go out with your new friends.
How much does it cost to live in A Coruña?
If you compare it with the Czech Republic, the living in A Coruňa is more expensive.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in A Coruña? Is there any advice you can give?
For me, it was a little bit difficult, because I was there just for six months and almost every owner wants to find somebody for the whole year. But there are a lot of opportunities for accommodation so I think that everybody can find something.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Because A Coruňa is near the sea (or better Atlantic Ocean) there are a lot of fish dishes.
I can recommend tapas bar - La Bombilla. It is one of the best!
What places would you recommend visiting in A Coruña?
I think that everybody should visit Torre de Hércules. It is the basic. And also beautiful is the historical part of Santiago de Compostela. This city is quite near A Coruňa and it is very interesting to see it.
Is it good to eat out in A Coruña? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Eating out is quite expensive, but from time to time you should try local cuisine. And as I said my favourite was tapas bar La Bombilla.
Is the nightlife good in A Coruña? Where is good to go?
I preferred to go to club named Garufa. There you can listen a lot of live music.
What advice would you give future students heading to A Coruña?
Just enjoy it as you can!
