Why did you choose to go to A Coruña, Spain?
I chose A Coruna because I can speak spanish, and of course, because of the Ocean.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
The scholarship lasts almost 5 months. I received 500EUR/month as an Erasmus grant.
What is the student lifestyle like in A Coruña?
First of all you can have a lot of fun especially because of the nightlife... and in the same time you have to study if you want to pass your exams.
Would you recommend the city and the University of A Coruña to other students?
of course, with all my heart.
What is the food like?
Personally, I didn't like the food, but this is only a personal matter.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in A Coruña?
In fact, I was very lucky because I found the right persons in the right time, and the perfect place.
How much does it cost to live in A Coruña?
It is not expensive, actually it is cheaper than Romania.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, there are free language courses at the University.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to A Coruña from your city?
The easiest way is by plane, but it is very expensive. Probably the most economical it is by bus but I don't know, I went there by plane but it costed me almost 600€.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in A Coruña?
To Brit in Los Cantones.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in A Coruña?
No.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Hercules Tower, House of Science
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to A Coruña in the future?
