Saint Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia and the most beautiful one. It's famous for its history and culture. Also it seems to be more a European city due to its close location to the Western boundary. There are a lot of tourists especially during summer time.

I'd recommend this city to live in!

What is the student lifestyle like in Saint Petersburg?

I think that for students Saint Petersburg is the best place ever! There are a lot of interesting places to visit such as art-galleries, street-art museums and different museums as well, where there are special discounts for students or even free entrance. Also the night life is great! So party-people won't be bored.

How much does it cost to live in Saint Petersburg?

It really depends on the personal preferences. The minimum required is about 330 euros per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Saint Petersburg? Is there any advice you can give?

It depends on how much you are willing to pay for the accommodation and what qualities you want. The minimum price for a room in a flat is about 180 euros.

I would advice you to avoid renting agencies that require money before you see the flat.

There are a lot of different cafes and restaurants in Saint Petersburg, so everyone can find what they want.

I'd recommend visiting the main museums such as the Hermitage, the Russian museum and the Yusupov Palace on the Moyka. Also visit some famous suburbs like Pushkin or Peterhof.

Yes it is! There are so many interesting places. My favorite is the cafe "Caffe Italia" on Bakunina Prospect 5, "Berlin" on Ital'yanskaya Ulitsa 2 is also very good.
