Ciao. I’m Maria Grazia and I’m a native Italian speaker from Verona with a certification in teaching Italian to adults 'CLTA' obtained it in one of the best school of London, International House.

Since October 2015 I’ve been teaching Italian through language schools and providing freelance lessons through my own little company 'languagesfromscratch'. From June 2019 I can also offer Spanish lessons, thanks to my network of qualified native Spanish tutors.

I mainly teaching using a communicative approach. This means that you have a more active role during the lesson. You won’t absorb passively the explanation of a grammar rule, but you’ll participate in detecting the rules. Mistakes are always welcome since they’ll allow you to arrive with more awareness to the “solution”.

You’ll always have space for talking. You will learn real conversation exchange. Starting immediately you can use your new skills when traveling to Italy, Spain, at work, or for speaking to your Italian or Spanish friends.

My collaborators and I are open to all levels, from the absolute beginner to the advanced one.

Skype classes are prepared with a lot of care. The teaching material is shared on a Google Doc in order to make the editing and collaboration with the teacher easier and fun. This is rich and involving as a face to face class. Try the first lesson and find out for yourself!
