Certified Ditals Teacher with 5 years of experience

Ciao, I’m Santa! I come from the south of Italy but I have been living in Tuscany for 3 years. I also lived in in several Italian cities and in Holland for almost 3 years where I worked as an Italian teacher.
After my Master’s degree in Humanities and Philosophy, I soon realized that teaching (presenting & promoting my culture) was my life's passion. Therefore, I decided to obtain the “Ditals” certificate for teaching Italian to foreigners and started teaching my native language.I love my job because it allows me to be in contact with people from different backgrounds and compare our different cultures.
My method focuses on the development of communication skills in spoken Italian and on using the language in a real context, while at the same time I will provide brief grammar explanations when necessary. During our lessons I offer you a pleasant and direct way to share knowledge and speak about some interesting topics about Italian culture, food & wine, art, travel, literature… In other words, not only topics related to the language itself, but rather topics to help your Italian language experience in a varied way.
However, my Italian lessons are tailor-made to the student’s needs, individual goals and appropriate level, in accordance with their professions and interests.
