University lecturer (M.Ed.; DELTA) experienced in preparation for IELTS, Trinity College London examinations and EAP.

I have been an English lecturer, trainer and examiner for the past 30 years. My work has taken me all around the world, especially China, South and Central America and Europe.

I trained as an actor in Poland from 1988 - 1991 before I entered the teaching profession, establishing my own English school and then working for the British Council in Warsaw.

More recently I have worked as a lecturer and teaching fellow in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at the Universities of Bath, Bristol, QMUL and UWE. I have worked as an examiner, mostly with Trinity College London, but also for IELTS, Cambridge (UCLES) and Aptis. I also specialise in English for pilots and air-traffic controllers.

I have a good knowledge of the abilities of international students including the cultural and linguistic difficulties they may face. I know how to assess all my students' needs and how to help them to succeed in attaining the highest levels in their education.

I teach individuals and small groups online using Zoom or Skype. I also proofread for examinations, academia and publication.
