Arosa, Switzerland

It was September which is the ending period of summer. We decided to go to Arosa in Switzerland which is a small village with refreshing weather and unique nature of the environment. This village is surrounded by mountains and lots of small waterfalls which are active during whole year.

The following photos have been taken after having a snow fall with rain early in the morning. After raining, it was refreshing with sunshine. This is the amazing nature of Arosa. The amazing nature of climate is it changes in time to time and make this place special. The architecture design of the houses gave an appearance of the modern country side village. Most parts of the houses have been built and decorated by woods.

Most of the population are look like farmers and made up by different nationalities. Due to this reason, they can speak in several languages such as English, German. They have their own culture of living. Most of the people are interested in hunting wild animals. In the small city, they have made a small museum with the collection of equipment relating to their traditional life and the typical/ special animals to this area.

This is tourist destination in both summer and winter season. In the winter season, it is a best place for ski and snow games. There are cable cars specially for ski players to travel on the top of the mountains. On the top of the mountains they have arranged for skiing and other snow games.

In summer, it is a nice place for climbing and hiking. In the summer season, (June and July months) this place is covered with lots of flowers and they will be cut down in August before stating the autumn.

The packages offer by the hotels for cable cars and public transportation on an overnight stay is wonderful for all the tourists. There is a uniqueness of the hotels in this area which can create a peaceful and relax mind.
