What is it like to live in Zurich? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a quiet small city that has some really interesting things to offer - but don't expect too much...

How much does it cost to live in Zurich?

It's one of the most expensive cities and it is hard to find good accommodation...

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zurich? Is there any advice you can give?

It's really difficult... sometimes universities offer help - ask there.

The food is reaaly good. Especially the meat and milk products and also in restaurant the food is really fine.

Is it good to eat out in Zurich? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, but so expensive. I really like the bar/restaurant "Clouds" at the top of the prime tower, you have a great view over Zurich. The restaurant "Vapiano" in the city center is one of my favourites as well- you can see how they prepare your food.

Is the nightlife good in Zurich? Where is good to go?

There are better places to go than commercial clubs. Personally, I like student parties...

What advice would you give future students heading to Zurich?

You need to know that Zurich is a very expensive city and its surely not the easiest country to get to know people. But with other international students, it's usually great.
