It is a good city to study or work. It is very internacional and professional. I had the great oportunity to do an internhship in Zurich and it has been a very useful experience.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am doing an intership, so I don't have a scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zurich?

You meet a lot of people from other countries here. It is very internacional and the lifestyle is cool.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Zurich to other students?

Yes!

What is the food like?

A lot of cheese! The gastronomy is very good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zurich?

Yes. If you are not member of the university it is difficult to find a residence.

How much does it cost to live in Zurich?

It a expensive city. I pay for the monthly ticket (3 zones) 120 CHF, for the rent 1000 CHF, and going out is as well expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It is very easy to live in Zurich just with english.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zurich from your city?

By plane. The flights from Barcelona to Zurich are cheap (between 80 euros and 150 euros).

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Zurich?

Langstrasse.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Zurich?

Cheese fondue and raclette are very typical from Switzerland.

Chuchi (Swiss), Cucina (Italian) are good restaurants, and in Niederdof there are a lot of restaurants as well.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Zurich in the future?

Go to visit Lucerne, and the mountains there (Rigi, Pilatus... ).

The half fare ticket is a good option to travel and you get 50% of dicount in any single ticket.
