How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

For six months I received 1500 CHF from ETH.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zurich?

ETH is a very hard university with lot of work to do. However there are several events and it is pleasant to go there... when they do not cost too much.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Zurich to other students?

I suggest it to people willing to learn. If you want to have only a fun period, this is not the city for you.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zurich?

ETH found it for me thanks to the WOKO housing. However, it is a bit out of the city, for 420 CHF. It is very cheap for the average, it is in Dietikon.

How much does it cost to live in Zurich?

500 per housing, 60-90 transportation, 150-250 food per month.

Going out is expensive, beers for 10-15 CHF, average restaurant 40 CHF.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Difficult language, not even real German. Courses of high German offered for free with very limited availability.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zurich from your city?

Bus FlixBus from Milan or BlaBlaCar.
