What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Zagreb is a great city to experience and I would recommend anyone to come and visit it. The city is very cheap in comparison with west european cities!
Architecture is really rich and I would say it reminds of Vienna a little bit, only smaller :) Culture is really unique and many people who visit Zagreb say the people are friendly. Here you will find a lot of restaurants and you are really lucky if you get to experience croatian cousine, because it's really unique and unexplored! I wouldn't exactly say that Zagreb is the best place to party, but it's also not the worst. It has many clubs and discos where you can find different kind of music. Public transport is quite satisfactory. You will find trams and buses in terms of public transport. Also, taxi can be a good option and not that expensive if you use it from time to time. Weather is great, the climate here is really mild so you can enjoy hot summers and snowy winters.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?

The student life is great. Zagreb offers many student campuses and also has one of the cheapest student restaurants. The people are great, very friendly and the universities have a lot to offer and are actually quite respectable.

How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?

Zagreb is not that expensive, which is always a bonus.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zagreb? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation is quite affordable and in recent time there are many new hostels opened in Zagreb.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great and there are many restaurants that offer croatian cousine which is one of the healthiest in Europe.
