What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

In Zagreb you can see typical balcan lifestyle. Before going to the city you have to look up what do you want to see. There are many museums, and parks.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?

Students often go to the clubs. They like to have fun. But on the other side there are many quite places where you can see them studying.

How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?

If you want to have it all, like going out and at the same time having a schedule, you could live on 300-400€

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zagreb? Is there any advice you can give?

Well there are all kinds of prices, but the cheapest places are those that are far away from center. But it doesn't matter, because you can get from one part of the city to another within 1 hour (with public transportation).

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great. One of the first thing you see is bakery on every corner, and there are soo many delicious foods. But Zagreb is lacking Vegan/Vegiterian food, that are affordable.

What places would you recommend visiting in Zagreb?

Tunnel Grič, Museum of broken relationships, upper city, park Zrinjevac and Ribnjak, the zoo, MSU...

Is it good to eat out in Zagreb? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, if you like meat then you can try some of the Balkan cooking. We are not selfish when it comes to food.

Is the nightlife good in Zagreb? Where is good to go?

Well you have all kinds of clubs that are packed over night. If you want to experience turbo folk music, there are many clubs for that (Roko, aquarius.. ), if you want to experience alternative music then you go to Močvara, but it all depends on what kind of theam night is that night.

What advice would you give future students heading to Zagreb?

Be patient, and explore.
