What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Zagreb is fantastic place to live. It has many events happening every day and it is not a big city, so with the public transport or taxi you can go everywhere you want for not so much time. People are very kind and almost everyone speak English.
What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?
Student lifestyle is excellent! If you want to party, you can party all the time. Concerts, clubs, bars, parks... and many more places you can be to party.
How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?
About 200/250€ plus bills per month for accommodation. For students there are canteens which have good food for cheap money (one menu is less then 1€).
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Croatia has a lot of traditional food that everyone must try. Mediterranean kitchen and restaurants everywhere.
What places would you recommend visiting in Zagreb?
Medvednica, Jarun and Bundek lake, city center, park Maksimir (there is a zoo also)...
What advice would you give future students heading to Zagreb?
Get some sleep, because when you get here, you will party all night.
