What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?
It's very cheap to be a student in Zagreb, and there is a lot of places that you can go out or visit a concert or two.
How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?
It depends on what kind of accommodation you live in, student dorms and student meals are really cheap.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zagreb? Is there any advice you can give?
I don't think it's a problem to find accommodation in Zagreb but on the other hand I never had to find one because I live with my family.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
We have a lot of local food that you have to try, like: Burek, čevapi, sarma, kremšnite, etc.
What places would you recommend visiting in Zagreb?
Park Zrinjevac, mountain Sljeme, street called Tkalča, lake Jarun.
Clubs: Katran, Močvara, History, clubs at the lake Jarun (Gallery), caffe places like Krivi Put.
Is it good to eat out in Zagreb? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Student restaurants around Zagreb are fine, Kava Tava (pancakes), bakery's are delicious (Mlinar, Dubravica) and there is a lot of fancy restaurants in the city center.
Is the nightlife good in Zagreb? Where is good to go?
Clubs: Katran, Močvara, History, clubs at the lake Jarun (Gallery), caffe places like Krivi Put.
What advice would you give future students heading to Zagreb?
Have fun! Zagreb is a safe and fun city.
