What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Zagreb is a very nice city, you can learn a lot of things here. I would recommend this place, it's good for student life. The only thing I don't like about Zagreb is the weather. Winter is cold and rain is so boring but spring is great. City is full of coffee bars and shops.

For people who like art:

  • If you love art and culture you can visit few big museums. Through out the year museums have a few great and big exhibitions.

For people who like sports:

  • Hmm... Actually, I don't know a lot of about that but my friends told me that Zagreb is full of gyms. They are great but you have to work a little harder to find the cheap one.

Student lifestyle in Zagreb depends about what are you studying. Some students have more free time.

Yes, it is. Of course if you want a nice flat. A lot of students in Zagreb live alone, and you can find a nice studio or one bedroom flat for 350-500 euro per month. Also you can find nice apartment and share with someone, that is also good choice. Big apartments are from 700-1000 euro per month. It depends on location.
