What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Zagreb is a beautiful city, a bit hectic sometimes. It is great for students because it offers a lot of activities.
What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?
It depends whether you like quite evenings and strolls in the city or you are more of a party animal, Zagreb offers it all. There are three big parks that you can do sports in or just enjoy the nature. The city center offers a lot of cafes and clubs to have fun in.
How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?
Zagreb is as expensive as any other capital city in Europe, but you can get a lot of discounts if you are a student.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zagreb? Is there any advice you can give?
Zagreb offers student accommodation in a dorm, there are a lot of hostels that are not that expensive. Finding some suitable for student standards should not be difficult.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Zagreb and Croatia, in general, is very proud of its gastronomy. During the spring and summer, there are a lot of food festivals where you can try specialties from all around Croatia. My favorite are Štrukli, try and find out what this is.
What places would you recommend visiting in Zagreb?
If you like the nature you should definitely go to Sljeme, Jarun or Bundek. The city center is rather historical and you can find a lot about Zagreb's history.

City center offers a wide range of restaurants and some of my favorite ones are Wok n Walk, Nokturno, Mex Cantina and California Burrito Bar.
Is the nightlife good in Zagreb? Where is good to go?
I am not a party person, but Zagreb as a Capital City offers a lot of clubs and bars. The best one are all located in the walking distance from city center.

Enjoy your stay as much as you can, meet the locals, they are very friendly and explore the suburban areas.
