It's quite near different countries, which let us travel a lot and meet different cultures.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My scholarship is 6 months and I received 250€ per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?
It is pretty good, there's a lot of students and a good atmosphere.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Zagreb to other students?
Definitely.
What is the food like?
Usually I cook at home, but the restaurants I tried are good.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zagreb?
Yes, because of the prices that are increasing.
How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?
I would say 400€ per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language is difficult, but there are many courses available.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zagreb from your city?
Plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Zagreb?
Rakhia and then to Opera.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Zagreb?
Nokturno and Ozusko pub.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
St. Marcus Church, Museum of Broken Relationships, etc.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Zagreb in the future?
Come and bring a lot of energy.
