What is the food like?

Great! Pizza at the main square will save your life after any party. Bakeries are at every corner, and they provide really great and fresh pastry (buhtle s cokoladom). Burek was a little greasy to me, but it tastes good anyway. Brownies at the cookie factory are irreplacible. Be prepared that you will gain weight after being here for some time.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zagreb?

I took some time and effort, however it is possible, even to get an appartment only via internet, so you dont have to come to Croatia to open house. Be ready to pay to the agency 250-500 euro, if you are using their services while searching.

How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?

Depending on how much do you eat and drink. Generally, compared to the central European countries - Zagreb is slightly more expensive.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Zagreb?

Anywhere, the most important is to have a company of great people with you.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Zagreb?

Cookie factory! Brownie á la mode - if you dont try it, you will never know the sweetness of life. And pizza you can buy at the main square - it tastes the best after the midnight.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Zagreb in the future?

Enjoy your stay here, Erasmus is very unique experience, and there is nothing like it. It gives you a great chance to widen your views of the world.
