Why did you choose to go to Zagreb, Croatia?
It is a really beautiful city with some of the best universities and ver professional professors.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
It's based on which department you are.
What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?
It's good, a little bit expensive on renting flats so I would suggest for everyone to look more about finding a good price.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Zagreb to other students?
Yes. The city is beautiful, has great nightlife and very nice people. Also, the university is very professional.
What is the food like?
The food is very good but as a student, you always have to look the cheapest way. So cooking is something that I suggest. Learn if you don't know how to cook.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zagreb?
This is the thing that gets me the most I'm still looking for, a better apartment.
Apartments here are a little bit expensive and if you don't have someone to guide you where to look and where not, you will end up paying to much for a not so good apartment. So I suggest look at the apartments from home before you come here.
Make sure you find something that is close to the city center because near there you have trams and busses that you can go where ever you want in Zagreb.
How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?
Basically about 1000 euro a month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The Croatian language is a difficult language. But you have courses that support you in university.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zagreb from your city?
Get a zet(transport company) monthly card to use the trams and busses, they go everywhere. Use cammeo taxi app, it's cheaper then Uber or any other taxi.

There are many clubs and bars in Zagreb, you can enjoy in max how the drinks in the clubs and they are not that expensive.
