Chapter 7 part 1

Like I did with the Krakow trip I will divide this chapter into several parts so not to make a huge text that will bore the living hell out of people, I think it makes it more interesting and fun to read, but that may be just my ilusion. In any case  please bear with this once more.

Having rested up a few days, my health improved enough for me not to fall from the couch everytime I got up to go to the bathroom (I'm exaggerating, of course), it didn't get that bad. This time I didn't made the same mistakes as I had done in Krakow and packed enough clothes in my backpack to last me half the week without worries, what can I say, people eventually learn from their mistakes, even stupid people like me! We arranged to meet in the Center where the main train station was, I don't remember the exact name of the station and I might be wrong about this, but I think it was called "Centralia". It was close to the Cultural Palace of Warsaw, you know, that big building that I showed you in the first chapters, if you've been keeping up with this tale. Since Rynair didn't actually fly from the main airport in Warsaw, "Chopin" we had to take our flight from "Modlin" airport, which was about an hour or close to it by train. Good thing we were lucky enough to get some seats.

There's always that expression about guys, "boys will be boys", well girls will always be girls as well, they were packing so much stuff that they had trouble moving! Ahaha :p I don't remember very well how the greek girls managed to book an apartment, but they did and it didn't cost that much, I can't tell you the exact price, but for Brussels it wasn't that much. A hostel or hotel would have been more, for sure! The flight from Warsaw to Brussels was maybe two hours, it wasn't more than this, I took the time to sleep a little, once more I got lucky and ended up having three seats on the airplane for myself, I could hear once in a while the girls flirting with the flight attendants, oh well "girls will be girls" I guess. Anyways after landing we took a bus that took us to the center of the city, it was far! I mean, from the airport to the center of the city it must have taken us thirty minutes or more, in any case, we got there and found our apartment without too much trouble.

The apartment was awesome! Not like that piece of trash I was living in Warsaw, it was modern, had a nice view and most important of all...a bed! Yes, a big and confortable bed for me to sleep in, naturally I would sleep in that of course, I needed that luxury! Ahaha :D

So, after settling in our new home, we took a walk around the city center to get something to eat, naturally the first place we went to was a restaurant. EXPENSIVE, I knew Brussels was expensive, but paying almost twenty-four euros for a normal meal is too much. Now that I think about, my roommate must have loved that trip, since she was in the "save money from the scolarship for my future business" thing. I remember months later she telling me that, that trip was not worth the cost, since she spent way too much. Well, for me that trip and all the others I made with those two girls were all amazing experiences that I woudn't trade for anything in this world. I have absolutely no regrets about this, even in the end if I had more money I would have taken the girls to another country, but unfortunately we were all broke in the end of Erasmus. Right, right we're getting side tracked I know! Moving on, I don't think we went out that day or night much because we got to Brussels a little late already and we were really tired, at least I was. So, we took a shower and decided who would sleep in the bed, I think I got to sleep in the bed at first with one of the greek girls, but then I found a grim reality...I didn't bring my pijamas. I didn't want to go to bed with a girl in my boxers shorts, come on! I'm not gay, but I don't feel good enough about myself to do that either...I politely told them about that situation and offered my place in the bed to the other greek girl. For that night I would sleep in a couch once more. Yaay!

Alright, so I'll end this part of the chapter here, on the first night. I will leave you with some pictures of our departure from Modlin airport, all of us having fun in the apartment and in the beautiful city of Brussels, as well as picture of one of the greek girls who thought she was a model and I, her personal photographist. Ahaha, I hope she doesn't read this, but if she does..."You ain't no model and I ain't no photographer girl, for sure!" :p

In the next part I swear I will put more pictures of the art surronding the city. Thanks again for the time spent reading my adventures, I hope you have/had a great day, keep reading if you're enjoying it! Peace out. :)
