One year, 430 euros/month

What is the student lifestyle like in Weimar?

Great!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Weimar to other students?

For sure! I love the city! After my Erasmus period I chose Weimar as my living city. Now I am part of this city and I love it.

What is the food like?

Many restaurants and great food! Actually, in Weimar the food is cheap!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Weimar?

No! Was enough to search on the university page, on Piazza. There, everyone is posting everything, even accomodation. You should only choose the best one for you.

How much does it cost to live in Weimar?

As a normal life, more or less 500 euros are ok.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The german is kind of hard language, but there are many language courses in the University.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Weimar from your city?

Usually when I go back in my home country to visit my family, I take the train and then the plane, back it's the same way. It's cost me around 250 euros, there and back.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Weimar?

C-keller or Falken, students places for having fun. Not very fancy, but very nice ones.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Weimar?

Antonio, Versilia, Anno 1990, Joey's Pizza, Munzur(greatest kebab ever)

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Well, Goethe's houses and museum, Schiller's house, Anna-Amalia Bibliothek, Park and der Ilm and many others. Weimar "breathes" culture.

Come to Weimar, Erasmus in Weimar will change completely your life!
