In Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmass market) drinking hot wine (Gluhwein) is a tradition in all german cities. Most of the Gluhwein posts you have to pay between 1 and 3 euro pfand for the cup and when you give the cup you get the money back. Many students kept the cups as a nice memory. So did I. The cup in München one of the most expensive but the cutest as well. I couldn't resist a Christmass boot cup even if it costed me 3 euro.
