M18 - student bar

At the beginning of Erasmus, especially when you start the winter semester, all the students you have in Weimar they are international students. Then at the end of september or the beginning of october the german students come. We started to meet more german in bars like M18 and at the Mensa (place were students eat). These places during the day you can eat or have a coffee and during the night you can have a great party with drinks at a special price especially for students.

In every part of germany you have places like this and you'll definitely have a Mensa everywhere. I't a cheap place where students and teachers have lunch. It can cost you between 2 and 3 euros with the student card. It's not the best meal in the world but at the beginning you'll go there because you don't know other places and then from time to time to meet other people. When you'll start classes you'll meet lots of other people only at parties and the Mensa.
