Love-hate relationship with the snow

I remember the first time it snowed. We were all waiting for it. We did a big international snowball fight with some 30 students. That was awesome! The second day it continued to snow so we did another snowball fight. The third day snowing it was still nice but looking from inside, it was too cold to go outside and our gloves were wet from the other days. The fourth day it was still snowing and it was so cold that we went outside only to go to class and to the supermarket. The fifth day snowing some of us skipped classes and we didn't even go to the supermarket. The Christmass vacation were really close, so we all were really worried about going back to our countries. The DB (Deutsche Bahn) trains were all comming late. The result - comming back for Christmass my flight was cancelled, and most of my friends were stuck in Weimar. They had to get a taxi to go to Berlin (2 h from Weimar = 200 euro). And most of them got their flights cancelled too. I remember waiting the next day in the airport for the flights people couldn't make to take them because their trains were late.
