If you choose a residence in Germany

If you already decided for the student residence, I advice you get an earlier flight when you go to Germany. And preferably not a Friday, because they work less on Friday. Better make sure you have the timetables and telephone numbers of the international office and the residence office. They usually have strange timetables and if you come when it's closed nobody can help you. In the residence, even if is a flat, every room is locked with a key. It happend to me that I arrived at 5-6 p. m. and they closed at 3 p. m. I had to pay a room by my own. Some of my colleagues slept on the flour of some spanish guys in the same residence.
