How to travel in Germany

In Germany I travel most of times by train. There are some different types of trains. You have the ICE or IC which is the most expensive within Germany. These are most of times direct trains calles express in other countries. You can buy tickets by internet in the www.bahn.de. The cheapest are 29 euro (from Frankfurt to Erfurt for example) and then the prices grow depending on the demand until some 56 euro. You better register in this webpage if you are plannig to stay for some time in germany, 'cause the electronic tickets you purchase them with your name and is valid with your passport. The webpage you can put it in different languages if you're not good at german. And if you have questions just ask me.

You also have cheaper tickets. In Germany is a lot cheaper to travel in group. You have the tickets Shönes-Wochenende - 39 euro - the price is for 5 person for the whole weekend (Sat. and Sun. untill midnight) within all Germany with regional and urban trains. There is also another ticket for the region. It costs between 20 and 30 euros depending on the region and the price is for 5 person with regional and urban trains. You can buy these tickets in the same webpage.

Most of german people travel by;mitfahrgelegenheit;. This is a way of sharing car. One person that travels alone with his car from Berlin to München for example, wants to share his car charging a small amount of money. You can find them in these 2 links: http://www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de/ , http://www.mitfahrzentrale.de/ . Usually you can contact the person by mobile phone or email, you have their contact details in the offer.
