German Parks

I have an extreme luck that the city of Weimar has plenty of parks. I woke up this morning and went jogging in the Park an der Ilm, the one that's closer to the centre. At 9 a. m. the park is full of runners and walkers. These germans really like taking an early run or walk. I'll try 8 a. m. next time but here the mornings are really cold now, I hope there won't be much difference. It feels good breathing the park's fresh air in the morning. If you have any park around try at least to take a morning or evening walk, it feels so good.

In the evenings we go all together in the parks to play football or just to hang out and have fun together. There are also some places that they authorise for barbeque. Two nights ago all the international students made together a barbeque to welcome the newcomers. So the parks here in Germany are multiple use as you see :).
