Fight for what you really want

You should never give up when you want something from all your heart. All your Erasmus universities will always give you many opportunities to learn interesting things related to what you study. Be sure that you know all the obligatory courses and workshops that you have to join. Most architects, designers and fine arts students need to work with wood or steel and they cannot work in the ateliers if they don't have this introductory courses and workshops.

Today I had to;fight; to get into a course I was really interested. Here at the Bauhaus University they have many opportunities and sometimes the teachers prefer the students that show more interest in their subject. I now have the opportunity to do large format photography with really expensive material, all provided by the university. I believe you have to be persuasive sometimes to get it. At the beginning the teacher told me I can't join the course but I insisted that I am truely interested and I can't have the same opportunity in my home university. You have to show flexibility towards german language as well, 'cause many of these teachers prefer to talk in german even if they talk good english. Is just the fact that they explain themselves better in german and that the information is not translated or shorter as it usually is in english.
