Blood Donation

I just finished talking with a german friend who told me that he donates blood twice a month. He said that this makes him feel very useful. Once he donated for a small girl that had blood cancer and it went well and made him feel extremely helpful. It intrigued me a lot and I think I will join him donating next time. I only hope that they accept people from other countries to donate. I'll let you know after I'll do it. If the idea of saving lifes is not enthusiastic for you, they also pay 70 euros per donation. It could be a good choice for an Erasmus student. And I think they do it all over Germany. I am kind of afraid of needles but I think the cause is worth it. If they let me do it I'll try to donate at least once a month. And I invite you, future and present students in Germany to do the same thing.
