Experience in Walnut Creek, United States by Caro

What is it like to live in Walnut Creek? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I don't know why one would come to Walnut Creek unless they were a filthy rich 30-something either starting a family or being some sort of professional.

What is the student lifestyle like in Walnut Creek?

A lot of yoga pants. People are either coming from a pilates class or going to buy $80 worth of protein bars scientifically engineered to reduce their waistline.

How much does it cost to live in Walnut Creek?

A lot.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Walnut Creek? Is there any advice you can give?

Probably not. They're building luxury condos by the dozen. My advice is to be loaded.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There's a lot of restaurants. I really like the Korean food on Bonanza.

What places would you recommend visiting in Walnut Creek?

The open space is my favorite part of Walnut Creek. Also the creek but people tend to yell at you if they see running thru their property.

Is it good to eat out in Walnut Creek? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I already answered this question.

Is the nightlife good in Walnut Creek? Where is good to go?

There's plenty of overpriced alcohol about. Uh, the Cheesecake Factory?

What advice would you give future students heading to Walnut Creek?

I honestly don't know why you'd go there. The closest Community college is in Pleasant Hill.
