When you're in Vigo there is one thing you absolutely have to visit: Islas Cíes. It's a little group of islands where you have some hiking trails and beautiful beaches. The ferry is not expensive, it's just about 15€ the return ticket. If you buy some food and maybe one beer for the time you hang out at the beach, you will have a really nice day! The view you have on the boat before you enter the island is already amazing:
As you can see: Clear water. The brightness of the sand and the clear water reminds me of that famous touristic spot of the east coast of Australia, the Whitsunday Islands. As I have been on both islands already I would say that the only difference between them is: on the Islas Cíes there are less people and you can get there with a smaller amount of money!
Furthermore you can hike through a small hill to see a lighthouse, but that's not all - on your way you can see a high diversity of flowers and a really nice jungle-like forrest:
We have been there at the end of april when there weren't so many tourists, that's why we enjoyed a small piece of the island with a beautiful view and beach where hasn't been nobody but us. After doing the hike for about 2 hours, it was the perfect spot to relax and finish the day on the islands:
