Why did you choose to go to Viborg, Denmark?

I wanted to try something different, something new. The social life in Denmark is amazing, danish people know how to live life.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Usually it's 2 years long, the last semester however is an internship abroad. In Denmark, if you have a part time job (working at least 10 hours a week) then you can get SU from the state every month (800 euro per month) besides your payment. Living in Denmark is pretty expensive (at least if you want to live alone).

What is the student lifestyle like in Viborg?

There are many international students and everyone is friendly. If you are open minded, you should try and see for yourself.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Viborg to other students?

I would say if you want to see something new and want to have great experiences then pack your stuff and make it real.

What is the food like?

Delicious, sometimes exotic.

The university can give anyone accommodation in campus, however it's not cheap.

How much does it cost to live in Viborg?

First months are expensive, however you will learn how to avoid spending too much. In the beginning I spent almost 500 euro / month, but in the end it went down to 300-350 euros. If you are willing to have a part time job then you will have lot of money to spend.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available for free, however danish language is one of the hardest languages to learn. It's really, really hard, but not impossible.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Viborg from your city?

From my city? Well from here I fly to Billund airport, from there I use bus and I'm in Viborg.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Viborg?

Crazy Daisy, Zwei Grosse Bier Bar...

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Viborg?

I don't remember the name, but you can find many good restaurants.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The city has a cool lake with many people running around it, that was my favorite place to chill. There are many old buildings and nice places, but you have to be there to see.
