What is it like to live in Varna? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Yes, I fully recommend living in Varna. It's very nice city with the sea and great atmoshpere. Although there are some poor areas mostly the city is clean. Besides the prices are not high and you can spend money on the food in restaurants every day. It will not be a big expense for your budget.
What is the student lifestyle like in Varna?
Student lifestyle is very easy and you can feel carefree every day. There is not point to stress with the studies, even if from the beginning it can look a bit complicated. Subjects are not so hard and even with basic language skills you should pass them. Student lifestyle looks like spending time with other erasmus students on parties and travels mostly.
How much does it cost to live in Varna?
There is cheap mostly for the people from rich countries and the countries where is euro.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Varna? Is there any advice you can give?
It depends on it what is your uni. If you study on uni of economics they support their students with accomodation, you should stay in dorm with other erasmus students. If the uni doesn't give you this opportunity, you have to try to look for sth on your own. Before you leave you can ask your buddy to help you with it.

Food is good... You will get on weight!

What places would you recommend visiting in Varna?
Absolutely Alba.; ) It's the name of the restaurant you will discover very quickly. But seriously you should visit the sea, what will not be hard, and just have nice walks through Varna.... If you like museum you should see archeological one and navy. I liked roman therms but maybe coz I'm interested in ancient ages.
Is it good to eat out in Varna? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, you should eat out coz it's more convenient and even cheaper. Of course it would be nice if sometimes you would prepare sth on your own and share the traditional foods with others.
Is the nightlife good in Varna? Where is good to go?
Yes, the nightlife is one of the best part during stay in Varna. The most popular clubs are Extravaganzza and Avenue. You should also visit Shelter, it's a bar but a very nice one.
What advice would you give future students heading to Varna?
Don't worry, be happy!... There are not any problems :) And don't buy ESN card! Don't make this failure as everybody of us did :(
