Varna is a great city with warm and fresh people. I would recomment it although it's not in its best time right now because of our shitty politicians. The city's just by the sea, it's the 3rd biggest city and can offer you good food, parties, sociality, landscapes, cultural sights, 3 malls, etc.

What is the student lifestyle like in Varna?

It's nice, I would say most of the students are pretty inside and out.

How much does it cost to live in Varna?

It's expensive if you're living in Bulgaria. Coming from another place it's cheaper.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Varna? Is there any advice you can give?

I wouldn't say it's difficult. The best is to stay in the centre, where it's more expensive but you have everything nearby, including the beach, the sea and our Sea Garden. You could contact this company.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There is a variety of places you could choose from. There are luxury restaurants, fast-food and all kinds of cuisines. I have too many favourite dishes to choose from. You should try the fish and the shells, it's a sea city afterall.

What places would you recommend visiting in Varna?

Underground bars and clubs like Bolla, Arest, Studio 21, Red, Vintage 33, Base, Incognito, Hale 3... All with a nice atmosphere and cool people. The Sea Garden is a park by the sea, a perfect place for a walk, sport, drinking a beer on a bench with friends and everything else you can think off. By the sea you should visit Cubo, Menthol, Cachaca and others.. There are also museums, opera, delphinarium, planetarium, karting and more things you should experience.

Is it good to eat out in Varna? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is good. I mostly eat junk food and home-made food. I wouldn't recommend junk food to anyone, but if you insist, you should try the Red Square's fast food.

Is the nightlife good in Varna? Where is good to go?

There is good nightlife in Varna and it's normal to greet the sun on your way out of the club after the party. Like I said earlier, I choose underground bars and clubs like Bolla, Arest, Studio 21, Red, Vintage 33, Base, Incognito, Hale 3..

What advice would you give future students heading to Varna?
