Port Saplaya

Hello readers!

Today, I am going to talk to you about one of my favorite places near Valencia: Port Saplaya.

This place is located in Alboraya, a village next to Valencia (very easy to go). Despite the fact that it is a small village, it has many interesting things (at least, for me). Port Saplaya is a part of this city near to the sea, where you can enjoy the ice-creams in summer and the beach, but it is specially interesting because of the little port that finishes in front of the houses of the town. That's why it's called "The little Venice", too.

The houses were built around this port and the boats are tied there, just in front the houses. At the beginning, this zone of Alboraya only started to receive population for holidays. Nowadays, many people live there all the year, but it keeps the biggest concentration during the summer.

If you want to visit this place you can go taking the 112 bus of Metrobus company. This bus goes from Valencia to Port Saplaya and you can check the schedules here.

During the winter you can go and enjoy the sea too, and take a look on the surfers, because they like to go there to practice surf (I think they find the good waves... but I don't understand anything about surfing). Anyway, anytime is good to visit this little port. The colored houses are beautiful and the owners are making you jealous for living there.

There is another bus to go, but this one has the departure from Alboraya, so that means you have to take the metro or the bus to go to Alboraya, and then there you should take the Alboraya Bus. To go to Alboraya is pretty easy: line 3 of Metrovalencia goes directly there and it has two stops (Alboraya - Peris Aragó and Alboraya - Palmaret). Then, you can take also the bus 70 to Alboraya center.

If you have any doubt, just ask! I will answer you as soon as possible. I hope you enjoy the post and this little idea to spend one afternoon in this beautiful place.

See you soon!

Hello! Thank you for the information. I am staying in Port Saplaya in the beginning of November and I am wondering how to get from Alboraya to Port Saplaya. How often is there a bus? Thanks!
