What are the facilities like?
The facilities are spread around the city but the main advantage is that they are near to each other, so you won't have to walk more than 15 minutes from a location to another. Worcester is a fast growing university and invested massively in facilities and quality of equipment. There are more than 500 computers (Macs included) in campus, Riverside (other university building) and City Center building. Gyms are available for students in both City Center and Sport Center and are updated with the latest physical training equipment on the market. One 3G Astro and one hockey astro pitch comebined with one basketball hall and an emblematic facility Worcester Arena (one of the only facilities in UK designed to hold disability sport competitions) complete the sport facilities. Oh, I almost forgot the Hive, a great library and an interesting place to study. More info on http://www.worcsu.com/ and http://www.worcester.ac.uk/your-home/outstanding-facilities.html
What are the tutors like?
The teaching staff is highly qualified and very keen to help you in the professional and personal development. The key of this university is represented by its staff. If Worcester is stated as a highly recommended university is because the professors here are open to talk to you, to give you advice, even though sometimes their daily schedule is very busy. People were open to listen and answer my questions and this factor played an important role in the successful completion of the degree as a international student. So, BIG + for the tutors at Worcester.
