Västerbotten is the county of Umea. It has a great importance in Sweden and has several records in Sweden, such as:

the highest garden in Hemaban,

the biggest wooden chuch in Stensele

the northernmost zoo in Lyckselee,

the longest cableway (13 km) between Mensträsk and Örsträsk,

the largest sport center – IKSU – in Umea,

the place of Sweden with most annual hours of sunshine in Holmön Island.

The Sweden smallest municipality, Bjurholm.

one of the four Swedish National Rivers, the River Vindeln.

the Europe’s largest nature reserve, Vindelnfjällen, in the northwester part of Västerbotten
