The different church

A curious thing I wanted to say is something that happened us last week. On Sunday we were in the downtown, and we entered in the church. We decided to go in and were at mass, and we discovered that it quite funny! Masses are much more fun here, not a priest speaking in a voice left, where you sleep... the music was much more cheerful and fun, and that it was in Swedish! The most curious of all was that they said something of fika, and everybody started coming out. Then, they had a real fika prepared for all parishioners! Hot dogs, croissants, coconut balls, juice... everything to make people happy! I keep thinking that it would be quite unthinkable in Spain... Not so the fika, but the Swedish church, from what little I know, it is more modern than other Catholic churches. The Swedish Church is a Lutheran church, but it works by itself, and not;responds; to a figure greater than itself. Was linked to the state until 2000, which surprised me a lot, allows woman reverend, so a women can celebrate mass, weddings... a, and another funny thing, allow gay marriage! These things show that the church does not have to be old and outdated, or follow a surreal ideal for today's society.

Well, now I get to my study, I have 5 days left for my exam! stress!
