Talk to your neighbors

When you arrive, one important thing is to talk with your neighbors. It’s not only socialize yourself, but to know the kitchen rules. Every kitchen is different, and people usually live in the corridors for many years, so it is unusual that everyone is new.

Normally there are already some pre-established rules you must enforce, but, of course they have to explain you. There is usually a weekly cleaner that changes every week and takes care of garbage and that is the kitchen clean. But in principle, everyone has to clean his things and not mess the kitchen (in my kitchen does not follow that rule... )

So if you see someone, introduce yourself and ask about rules. You may have a corridor meeting where you can speak of these things, or incase you have to change something. In addition, you probably have a common currency to buy things for the kitchen, from cleaning up pots and pans (that you have to talk to everyone)

You can be lucky with neighbors, or very bad, and your corridor will a mess or a sh**(like mine).
