First day of classes

You will be very nervous, and rightly so! For me it was the first time in my life that was in a class full of strangers, learning in English and above in a Masters level class...

Get up early, do not drink much coffee so as not to get more nervous. Arrive to class on time, you do not know what can happen. On the first day of my second year a major snow fell and could not take the bike!

Do not become autistic. You may not know anyone in class, but it is also possible that they also are unknown! Sit down with someone, greet, and try to start a conversation. And if you see the lunch, or the fikas, group appair, go with them. You don’t need to talk, but at least theyhave to know that you exist.
