Airport odissey! (I)

After almost 3 months, I went away from Umeå. In a relationship with Erasmus I have to visit the other part. I bought the tickets to Barsome time ago.. The trip was more or less well, catch a plane at 10 am in Umeå, and after a stop in Stockholm for 2 hours and a quarter and one in Amsterdam of another hour, arriving in Barcelona at 18:50.

And that, things looked good, but then... It turns out. Tthe same day of the trip, the first big snow storm in sweden of the year. It began to snow, but not stopped! In the morning when I woke up there were more than 10 cm of snow in the streets. I went to the airport and once there, the world came crashing down... Many flights canceled, and mine delayed 2 hours! 2 hours of delay would only let me 15 mins to make the stop in Stockholm, which would be completely impossible, because I had to make a change of terminal.

The only possibility I had was to buy a SAS ticket leaving at 11:30. I would have 45 mins to make the scale. It was VERY short time, besides having the suitcase to check that it would be impossible to check.

After waiting, things did not change, whether I threw an all-in and bought the ticket from SAS (thankfully, to have the Swedish student card, I had a special price). There was no going back...

Now he had to solve the problem of the luggage. I had it on my hand, but I couldn´t carry it with me. What to do with it? In the airport you can only let it 24 hours. I asked if I could save, and manager of the airport but said no, that it was not legal. I tried to convince a girl of norweigian, and made me the huge favor (after putting my face slain lamb) and decided to keep it in his office, after passing through X-ray and visual inspection...

Finally, I went to the plane. It was 11:30 and we had not yet entered the plane! They had to clean all the snow that had fallen in the wings. Until 11:50 am did not take off the plane... At 12:45 landed in Stockholm. I had less than 30 mins to reach the other plane!

To be continued...
