Generally, what is University of Limerick like?

Great University with modern facilities. The sports facilities are especially good, the gym is top class and there are so many clubs and societies you can join to meet new people.

There is also a nice atmosphere on campus and the student bar is nice and cosy, not to mention the library which is also fantastic!

The city itself is relatively small and isn't exactly very pretty, but there is a lot of nice restaurants, and many of which are student friendly and very affordable. Because of this you can also expect rent to be affordable.

But don't let that put you off! Its not far from nice places like Kilarney in Kerry, and Galway City that you can visit.
