Generally, what is University of Limerick like?

Personally I think the University of Limerick is a fantastic college. It provides top class courses with highly skilled lecturers, who are always on hand to help if you have a problem. The college boasts one of the most elite gyms in Ireland with a 50 metres pool, which are both very cheap to use. There is also a huge number of clubs and socs that students can join. These are not only a great way to keep fit but you can make lots of new friends too.

What are the facilities like?

Top classes. Whether you're into sport, art, drama, languages... Always there is something for you.

What are the tutors like?

In my experience, the tutors are all very good. They make course content easier to understand and are always there to help if you have a problem.

Are the lessons easy in University of Limerick?

Well, I don't think university lessons should be overly easy. We are there to learn and be challenged mentally. I think the University of Limerick provides interesting and enjoyable course material, that requires you to use your head and gain knowledge in an effective way.

Does the university organise activities? If so, what are they like?

The university has many clubs and societies that begin each semester. These can be joined for a small fee and allow students to learn a new sport or improve at a hobby.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes, in my course I have found all my lecturers to be very competent in teaching and providing us with useful information.

Are there any stories you can share?

Too many. If you're looking for a university that provides first class education with the best social life you could ask for, then I highly recommend Limerick. I've had some amazing experiences in this college, made friends for life and have loved every minute of it!
