Generally, what is University of Bergen like?
Bergen is quite smaller but very beautiful city. The university is located close to the city centre. It is quite easy to find your way around. The people are friendly (if you get to know them). You can get discount on public transport, and on alcohol in student bars with your student card. Tuition is free in Norway although regular students have to pay around 60 euros as semester fee, but exchange students are exempted.
What are the facilities like?
The facilities are not very different from what you see in other universities.
What are the tutors like?
The tutors are extremely friendly and easy to approach.
Are the lessons easy in University of Bergen?
I guess it depends on what you study, and the courses you take. You can always manage to find not-so-difficult courses.
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
The student network organises various activities through out the semester. They organise trips around Bergen, to Stavanger and mostly to north of Norway.
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
Yes. Very high quality.
