Experience in European University of Madrid, Spain by Sinem

Generally, what is Universidad Europea de Madrid [Villaviciosa de Odón] like?

It is so artificial both for architectural and relationships. It makes me feel more like I am doing business.

What are the facilities like?

I had enrolled Art courses based on practises. So most of the classes were held in ateliers.

Technological resources were very good and also all the materials that we used in class during the semester, which were free for us. It is good to have those things free and available all the time.

What are the tutors like?

They were very professional and expert in their field. But the most problematic part was they could not teach in English.

Are the lessons easy in Universidad Europea de Madrid [Villaviciosa de Odón]?

Easy is a not good description: from my personal point of view, it was rather a challenging and innovative learning process.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

They don't organize anything for international students. It was the worst part: the lack of any activities which could make international student feel comfortable and understood by university tutors and students.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes, it was, especially in ART and DESIGN department.

Are there any stories you can share?

No, thanks.
