The European University of Madrid (UEM), or 'Universidad Europea de Madrid' in Spanish, is divided into two campuses: one in Villaviciosa de Odón and the other one in Alcobendas.

The UEM offers students a great opportunity to develop their careers, especially in degrees like Medicine, Dentistry and Physical Activity Sciences and Sport. The University was awarded for its high-quality teaching in these specific areas. It also ranked 10th among the best universities in Europe.

The city of Villaviciosa has a population of almost 30,000 and it is located 24 kilometres away from the centre of Madrid. It is an amazing place where you will be able to share your university life with students from all over the world. You can travel Villaviciosa-Madrid/Madrid-Villaviciosa by taking the bus 518. The trip will last no more than 25 minutes.

The UEM is a world-renowned school, so people come from every continent. You can easily find apartments to share at Villaviciosa de Odón for low prices. Unlike Madrid's apartments, where the usual rent is 450 euros for a narrow single room, in Villaviciosa you can find a roomy house with a community pool and all the facilities included for about 250 (no more than 300 euros) a month.
