What is it like to live in Tunis? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

living in tunis is very decent and simple , you can find all that you need to have a good standard of living. But i can't deny traffic is really a problem especially in the capital in rush hours

What is the student lifestyle like in Tunis?

student lifestyle in Tunis is very dynamic, there are so many pubs if you are a fan of nightlife , otherwise there are many cultural events or sport clubs

How much does it cost to live in Tunis?

rent is between 150 and 500 euros
pizza 5 euros , sandwich 2 euros, a dish in a luxurious restaurant 15 euros , a bottle of water 1L 0.3 euro ...
transport: metro ticket 0.2 euro , bus ticket 0.4euro and there are transport pass for students that you can pay monthly about 50 euros per month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tunis? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's not difficult especially for students,there are public and private students residences or you can rent a flat or a house and prices depend on the location. it can vary from 150 euros to 500 euros for an appartement rent

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

typical tunisian food is delicious especially for someone who is fan of spicy and hot dishes, my favourite tunisian dish is couscous ( the most known traditionnal dish in tunisia)

What places would you recommend visiting in Tunis?

i recommend to visit La marsa and sidi bou said village ( in the capital ) and other coast cities such as Soussse or Hammamet . And don't miss the chance to visit the south of tunisia , there are wonderful landscapes to see there.

Is it good to eat out in Tunis? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes in tunisia you can fin different restaurants for different tastes and for different budgets, there are absolutely traditionnal restaurants for Typical tunisian food But you can also find french , italian, libaneese, turkish and even japeneese restaurants.

Is the nightlife good in Tunis? Where is good to go?

Of course nightlife is very good in tunisia we have so many pubs especially in La marsa and Gammarth ( in the capital) and Hammamet and Sousse ar 2 towns very known for their night clubs
