Generally, what is Tbilisi State University like?

Well for me my University is number one. When I was writing down list of the universities, where I wanted to pass, Tbilisi State University was first. I want to mention, that I haven't done a mistake. Because it has really faculty for my profession and not only. In my profession (I am an Archaeologist), there are really good professors, every summer and not only, we are able to go in expeditions. Also I want to say a little about exams, we have two mid-term exams and then we pass final exams, there is special examination center, which organizes all this exams. Also we have really good library, which I think is very important fot the students.

What are the facilities like?

Well there are many facilities, in every field. There are several conferences on every faculty and every student has a possibility to take part into this, also there are many sport activities.

What are the tutors like?

Well, now I will again talk about about my professors, who were teaching me. In Archeology there are really good tutors, they are always ready to help you, you can meet them and ask everything in what you are interested, or if you have any questions to the lectures and about literature which you need to pass exams and seminars. They are really friendly and high-qualified professors.

Are the lessons easy in Tbilisi State University?

Well, it defend on the course you are going to choose. But the style on this courses are same, there are lectures, which lasts about two hours and seminars, which lasts 1 hour. On every lecture professors explain new topics and then you have to pass this topics on seminars, it is really good, because you are ready for mid-term exams, it makes them easier and before exams you just need to reed these topics again.every professors make presentations for students, also students are making presentations and we call it final presentation, you choose one topic in which you are interested more and make a high-qualified presentation and professors estimates each of these.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Yes, university organizes activities: in sport, intellectual games, Olympiads (I have taken part in English and in History) and many other activities. Every interested person can check our website, there are all useful informations.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

I can say, that quality of teaching is really good.Professors are really doing their best to give a students knowledge.

Are there any stories you can share?

Well, I don't know what to write here, but I just want to say, that is going to pass in my University don't hesitate, just check scholarships and come in Tbilisi, Georgia.
