What do you think about living in Trujillo? Would you recommend it? What is it like?
It is a tranquil city with lots to visit and nightlife to enjoy. The architecture in the centre of the city is colonial, while on the outskirts, it is quite modern, with buildings, department stores, etc.
What is the student life like in Trujillo?
Good, perfect for studying as it is peaceful. There are a couple of universities.
How much does it cost to live in Trujillo?
You can find a menu from 6 soles up to 24 soles maximum. The accommodation is around 300soles a month, depending on the location. The monthly cost of living is around 600/700soles.
How did you find accommodation in Trujillo? Can you give any advice?
Look in the newspaper La industria de Trujillo, there are loads of announcements there.
What is the food like in the country? What is one of your favourite dishes?
The food is excellent. The seviche is delicious, as is the cabrito, and the rice and duck. All of the food in Trujillo is delicious without exception.
Where do you recommend to visit?
La Plaza de Armas, las Huacas del Sol and la Luna, Chan-Chan, Huanchaco and las Casonas in the centre of town.
And to eat? Where do you recommend?
The restaurant El Mochica, El Sombrero, and El Paisa.
Where do you recommend to go out in the evenings?
Disco Ama, Million, and Estribo
